Instructions for adding a new MAC (wireless device) to a Linksys wireless G router.

(These instructions may work for other makes or models of routers.)

If the filter is already Enabled, click on disable and save your settings.  You can now connect your new laptop, Wii, iPhone etc.  Once that’s done click on Enable.

Make sure to set it for Permit only NOT Prevent only.  (The default is prevent.)  Now click on Edit MAC Filter List.  It will now look something like this:

Now click on Wireless Client MAC List.  Your screen will now look something like this:
